Terms & Conditions

By registering for the Pinay Powerhouse 10 International Destination Conference ("Conference"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Registration & Payment

Registration is confirmed only after the required deposit or full payment has been received.

Accepted payment methods include:

• Bank transfer

• Credit or debit card

• Monthly installment payments through Affirm

Participants who choose an installment payment plan through Affirm are responsible for completing all scheduled payments according to the terms of their financing agreement. Failure to complete payments may result in cancellation of your reservation in accordance with the payment provider's policies.

2. Refund Policy

All sales are final.

No refunds will be issued for:

• Deposits

• Package purchases (Packages A–D)

• Optional add-ons

• Domestic airfare

This policy applies regardless of personal circumstances, travel delays, illness, scheduling conflicts, or inability to attend the Conference.

Because this is an international destination event, attendees are strongly encouraged to purchase comprehensive travel insurance that includes coverage for trip cancellation, medical emergencies, baggage loss, and travel interruptions.

3. Transfer Policy

Hotel accommodations, conference tickets, and land transfers may be transferred to another guest until March 5, 2027.

Transfer requests must be submitted in writing by the original registrant and include the replacement guest's complete contact information.

No transfers will be accepted after March 5, 2027.

Domestic airfare reservations are non-refundable and subject to the airline's fare rules. Airfare may not be transferable unless permitted by the airline.

4. International Travel Requirements

Attendees are solely responsible for:

• Obtaining and maintaining a valid passport

• Securing any required visas or travel authorizations

• Meeting all destination country entry requirements

• Complying with airline regulations and customs requirements

• Obtaining recommended vaccinations or health documentation, if applicable

Pinay Powerhouse is not responsible for denied boarding, denied entry, passport expiration, visa issues, or any government travel restrictions that prevent attendance.

5. Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is not included in any conference package.

Pinay Powerhouse strongly recommends that all attendees purchase comprehensive travel insurance to protect against cancellations, medical emergencies, evacuation, lost luggage, travel delays, and other unforeseen events.

6. Changes by the Organizer

Pinay Powerhouse reserves the right to modify the Conference itinerary, speakers, activities, accommodations, transportation, venue, or schedule when necessary due to operational needs or circumstances beyond its control.

Reasonable substitutions may be made without liability or obligation to provide refunds.

7. Assumption of Risk & Liability

Participation in the Conference involves travel and participation in organized activities.

By attending, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with international travel and Conference participation, including but not limited to illness, injury, accidents, delays, theft, property damage, weather-related events, transportation disruptions, or other unforeseen incidents.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pinay Powerhouse, its owners, employees, contractors, volunteers, speakers, sponsors, and partners shall not be liable for any personal injury, illness, death, property loss, financial loss, travel interruption, or other damages arising from or related to participation in the Conference.

Attendees are responsible for their own personal belongings throughout the event.

8. Photography & Media Release

The Conference may be photographed, recorded, or filmed for promotional, educational, and marketing purposes.

By attending, you grant Pinay Powerhouse permission to use your name, likeness, image, voice, video recordings, and photographs in future promotional materials, websites, social media, advertising, and other marketing channels without compensation or additional approval.

If you do not wish to appear in photographs or videos, you must notify the event organizers in writing prior to the Conference. While reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate your request, complete exclusion from group photographs or public event recordings cannot be guaranteed.

9. Force Majeure

Pinay Powerhouse shall not be liable for any delay, cancellation, modification, or interruption of the Conference resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Natural disasters

• Severe weather

• Acts of God

• Pandemics or epidemics

• Government actions or travel restrictions

• Civil unrest

• Terrorism

• Labor strikes

• Transportation disruptions

• Utility failures

• Any other unforeseen event that makes the Conference impracticable or impossible to conduct.

In such circumstances, Pinay Powerhouse reserves the right to modify the event, reschedule portions of the Conference, substitute services, or cancel the event without liability beyond any obligations required by applicable law.

10. Code of Conduct

Pinay Powerhouse is committed to providing a welcoming, respectful, inclusive, and professional environment for all attendees.

All participants agree to:

• Treat fellow attendees, speakers, staff, vendors, and venue personnel with courtesy and respect.

• Refrain from harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or abusive behavior.

• Respect cultural differences and local customs while traveling internationally.

• Follow venue policies, local laws, and organizer instructions.

• Conduct themselves in a manner that contributes positively to the Conference experience.

Pinay Powerhouse reserves the right to remove any attendee whose behavior is disruptive, unsafe, unlawful, or inconsistent with these standards. Removal from the Conference will not entitle the attendee to any refund or compensation.

11. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting your registration and payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions, including all payment, refund, transfer, liability, and participation policies.

You further acknowledge that participation in the Pinay Powerhouse 10 International Destination Conference is voluntary and that you accept the responsibilities and risks associated with international travel and attendance.
